Dr. Stewart was the first dentist in Lakewood to incorporate the WATERLASE™ into his dentistry. This is a "hard tissue" laser used for restorative dentistry often without anesthetic injections and drilling. Laser pinpoint accuracy reduces tooth trauma and loss of structure. The laser sterilizes as it works, eliminating bacterial contamination. This laser is also ideal for removal of soft tissue growths / lesions often with no injections! Faster, more comfortable healing with laser procedures is repeatedly noted and commented on by patients. This is the safest mode of dentistry we have for both children and adults.

Our practice also utilizes EZ-LASE™ , a "soft tissue" laser, for non-surgical periodontal procedures. Our hygienist is trained and certified in the use of this laser as part of treatment for periodontal disease. We are excited about the results we are seeing with this laser and even more excited about the positive comments we are hearing from our patients!

We utilize a third laser - the DIAGNODENT - for the detection of decay. This laser can identify very small areas of decay, often before they are even visible and is part of our dedicated effort to practice minimally invasive dentistry.
